I’ve got a drawing of a unicycle for you right here.
Super List Saturday, April 27, 2013: My Week—3 Bad Things, 3 Good Things.
I had decided to make a list about bad things happening to me when, in the same day, a beetle fell out of the ceiling onto my neck and I cut my finger. But my cousins from Australia demanded to be included in this week’s list, so I decided to go Yin-Yang and balance out the bad things with some good things.
If you’re wondering, the beetle was a Caterpillar Hunter, also known as a Fiery Searcher. After I brushed it off my neck frantically I scooped it up and set it free outside.
Sketchbook drawings from my trip to Denton a couple weeks ago.
I haven’t uploaded a sketchbook page in a while. Here are some sketches of me working through ideas for the Mary Toft portrait.
Super List Saturday, April 13, 2013: 12 Well-Loved Books From My Shelves.
This isn’t meant as a definite list of my favorite books, or books I consider to be “best” books, but out of all the books I own, they are certainly important to me. For better or for worse, they have all shaped me as a person.
Super List Saturday, April 6, 2013: 9 Piles in My Room.
I recently came across an article about important creative habits, and it mentioned keeping your work area tidy. That got me thinking about how I keep everything in piles, which I thought would make a great SLS. So instead of cleaning up my piles, I drew them. The article was helpful.
Super List Saturday, March 16, 2013: 10 Nicknames for Strangers.
You find yourself in a social interaction with someone whose name you have not learned. Press ENTER to begin. Exits are NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and BUCKAROO.
Super List Saturday, March 2, 2013: 12 Obscure Films You Should Consider Viewing.
This week’s list is a companion to 12 Movies You’re Angry I Haven’t Seen. I won’t be angry if you don’t see these films, but I recommend all of them heartily. The first three titles in this list are all public domain and easy to find online. I believe the same is true for C’etait Un Rendezvous as well, and it’s also only eight-and-a-half minutes long.

Super List Saturday, February 23, 2013: 6 Unexplained Phenomena in Texas.
An article about the rumored Cat Killer (or “woodsman”) here in Fort Worth prompted me to do some research on other legends and phenomena around the state. I have to say San Antonio is embarrassing itself with the donkey lady ghost story. A woman who looks like a donkey? Is that the best you can do, San Antonio?
